ALTAER Dance Collective is a Christian dance team in Orange County made up of adult dancers from both the dance community and Christian ministries. Our mission is to dance with a heart of humility, and our vision is to share the gospel with different communities through parable-based sets and evangelism.

Parables in Motion

As our mission is to dance with a heart of humility, we recognize that dance often leans toward self-glorification. Our desire is to shift this perspective. We want to surrender every movement to the Lord and dance solely for Him. For this reason, all of our sets and performances are rooted in the teachings of Jesus’s parables. With every step surrendered, we seek to bring His Word to life through our dancing.

  • The Parable of The Wise and Foolish Builder

    Matthew 7:24-27
    24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

  • The Parable of the Lost Sheep

    Luke 15: 4-7
    4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

A Dance Collective Built on Jesus

  • ALTAER Dance Collective is made up of professionally trained young adult dancers (18+) from the Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego dance communities. With backgrounds in competitive dance, studio training, live performance, and choreography, our team is passionate about pursuing excellence, creativity, and purpose through dance.

  • We are a Christian competitive dance team committed to growing in artistry, discipline, and performance excellence. Our desire is to be a light within the competitive dance community by reflecting humility, professionalism, encouragement, and the love of Jesus in every environment we enter.

  • ALTAER Dance Collective is open to collaborating with artists, musicians, choreographers, creative directors, churches, and brands on meaningful creative projects. Whether through live productions, visual content, worship experiences, or stage performances, we value intentional storytelling and purpose-driven creativity.

  • We love serving communities through dance performances at worship nights, conferences, community gatherings, outreach events, productions, and special events. Our goal is to create impactful experiences that inspire people, bring excellence to every stage, and reflect the love of Jesus through the arts.
